In the wild, Mandarins can be found in northeast China, Korea, Japan and eastern Siberia.
The Mandarin Duck or just Mandarin, is a medium-sized perching duck, closely related to the Carolina Duck or North American Wood Duck (Aix sponsa). It is 41–49 cm long with a 65–75 cm wingspan.
